I have been restoring, conserving, and making inlay for 28 years; as of this month. Often we hear about someone passing away and taking their wealth of knowledge with them. I wanted to share some of my experiences and knowledge before I go to that "workshop in heaven".
The first two posts are about restoring the inlay on period card tables. Future posts will be about other restoration projects as well as comparative studies of shells, eagles, floral paterae, husks, etc.
