Indiana Chapter Spring 2021 zoom meeting UPDATE

The Indiana Chapter will host a zoom meeting on Saturday 22 May 2021 starting at 10:30 AM. Our presenter will be Cartouche winner Ray Journigan. Ray will be discussing his current project, a Charleston Rice Bed. Charleston Rice beds were some of the most elegantly carved tall post beds of the 18th century.  Join Ray as he shares techniques he uses in turning and carving these post.  He will share short cuts to better turnings for not so good turners like himself, important things to consider when joining segmented post, and laying out the carved elements.  Ray looks forward to answering your questions about the techniques he uses to create these beautiful beds!
