Hello All,

The Indiana Chapter's 2011 Spring Meeting is May 14th at Conner Prairie, located in Fishers, IN.  The meeting location will be in the MODERN SHOP.  Please look for signs posted for directions once you enter the park.

As a reminder, I need a "head-count" no later than April 30th, 2011.  This would allow the Conner Prairie  team enough time to make their accomodations.

AGENDA:

1.) 9:00am-9:15am - Arrive, Greet and Meet.

2.) 9:15am-10:00am - Introductions, Show and Tell

3.) 10:00am-12:00pm - Dan Rehard, SAPFM member from the Great Lakes Chapter, will be doing a session on carving acanthus leaves on a cabriole leg,

4.) 12:00pm-1:00pm - Off site Lunch

5.) 1:00pm-1:30pm - Sam Rhodes will be bringing one of his Chippendale chairs for discussion,

6.) 1:30pm-2:30pm  - Tod Herrli will be demonstrating the flattening of a 'rough sawn' board with only hand planes,

7.) 2:30pm-3:00pm - Dave Redlin will be bringing in a Queen Anne footstool for discussion,

8.) 3:00pm-3:30pm - Wrap Up, Discuss topics, dates, and volunteers for next Meeting,

9.) 3:30pm-? - Tour of new Timber framed structure that Conner Prairie is building (weather pending)

Due to the amount of information that's going to be covered, we're only planning on a 1-hr lunch break.

There are several "fast-food" restaurants within a 5 minute drive from Conner Prairie.
