How to Install Baize

I am making a card table that will have baize as the playing surface.  Does anyone have experience with installing this on a wooded top?  This top is complicated by the fact that there are cutouts for chip and cup holders so the baize needs to be cut to conform.

If the installation is a more advanced skill, which I think it is, I am open to having someone else do this part.  I would appreciate names and contact info for someone who does this professionally.

I have the CD with Mack. He uses the 18th c. method. Apply hot hide glue to the top. Let it dry. Lay the baize over the top. Using a hot iron move it slowly over the baize but he has a towel under the iron. If the iron is too hot the glue will bleed thru the baize. I tried this and it takes a lot of practice.

I made a triple top card table for a customer and this is what I did. Finish all the areas of the top, candle sockets and ponds, etc. Then mask off these areas with painter tape. Spray contact adhesive to both the top and baize. Remove the tape from the finished areas and lay the baize over the top pressing and rolling the baize unto the top. Using a very shape knife cut and trim the baize.

I bought my baize from a pool store (game store). I cames in many colors and the edges do not fray when cut.
