Why buy two single bevel chisels (angled left and right) when a small 1/8" will get in the corner just as well?

After sawing and marking the depth of the pins and tails. I will use my 1/8th" to start a channel and then 1/4" and then 3/8" and then 1/2" and then 3/4" and then 1". Each pairing about an 1/8th" upon the flat surface established before. Stay away from your primary line until final execution with your wider chisels

Is that the front of a lipped drawer? How did you cut the pins back to produce the lip? Sawn or chiseled?
