Great Lakes Chapter Meeting October 24/25 2015
Meeting Agenda
Great Lakes Chapter meeting has been set for Saturday and Sunday, October 24th and 25th, 2015 at the Livonia Senior Center in Livonia, Michigan.
This SAPFM meeting is open to all SAPFM dues paying members and their guests.
We ask a donation of $5 per person to cover charges of room rental, coffee, soda, and snacks.
We will be having lunch at the restaurant next door, “Sam’s Place”.
Saturday dinner is at Max and Erma’s in the Laurel Park Place Mall.

Doors open at 8:30AM. Arrive, relax, tell tall tales.
10:30 to Noon – Show and Tell, Bring any completed piece or any piece under construction to discuss and show off. Swap and Swindle – bring anything you wish to sell or trade.
Noon to 1:00 Lunch at Sam’s Place next to the senior center.
1:00 Dave Boeff will present construction techniques for a drop leaf table
2:00 Slides and discussion of SAPFM Mid Year Conference, Handworks in Iowa, and the Studley Tool Chest
3:00 Andrew Messimer and Jim Crammond present how to bore holes on a compound axis. There will be some hands-on opportunities.

9:30 Ralph Babcock will present: How to (or not to) make 8 dollar table saw sliding tables.
10:00 Chad Stanton will show how to hand-cut double dovetails.
11:00 to 11:30 Wrap up – Ideas and subjects for the next meeting.
Video of the Studley Toolchest will follow the wrap up. (20 minutes)
