The Great Lakes Chapter meeting has been set for a single day, Saturday October 28, 2017 at the Livonia Senior Center in Livonia, Michigan.
The meeting is open to all SAPFM duespaying members and their guests.
There will be a request of $5 per person to cover charges of room rental, coffee, soda, and snacks.
We will be having lunch at the restaurant next door, “Sam’s Place”.

9:00 – Doors open! Arrive, relax, and have coffee and snacks with friends.
9:30 – Show and Tell: Bring any completed piece or any piece under construction to discuss and show off. Also, swap and swindle, bring any tools, books, etc. you want to pass on to others.
10:00 – Veneering Essentials: Introduction to Vacuum Veneering, Rich Herbert
11:30 – Veneering Essentials: Introduction to Hammer Veneering, Michael Holden
Noon to 1:00 – Lunch at Sam’s Place next to the senior center.
1:00 – Introduction to Hammer Veneering, Cont., Michael Holden
2:00 – Marquetry Basics, Neil Hoegemeyer
