I can finally get my head out of the woods. Thomas Martin's Opus, The Circle Of The Mechanical Arts, 1813, has gone to press and is now available for sale. The specs are as follows:
8.5x11; hard cover/ case wrap laminate; facsimile black & white text; 39 plates in color facsimile; introduction by yours truly for a total of 716 pages. I'll confess that after nearly a year of research, we still know little of who Martin was. It's still all inference.
Full retail is $60.00. Through my storefront it's $42.00 at the usual 30% off. Amazon and the rest will charge whatever they will charge as the dust settles.
