Steve Hamilton and Jeff Headley will be offering a class at Marc Adams School of Woodworking "Feets Don't Fail Me Now " May 14th and 15th, 2011 . This will be an in depth step by step study, with hands on instruction, on the bases of most period furniture construction, the feet. This class will stand upon itself as a foundation to base most period furniture foot construction techniques needed to support the piece of your dreams.  We will cover all the bases including carved Chippendale claw and ball legs, Queen Anne cabriole legs, but not limited to the trifed, and then an O G bracket feet, flaired from a solid side French foot, Spanish feet, Bun feet, Sheraton turn legs, Marlborough feet, plus to many other feet to mention. If you start at the bottom then there is no place to go but up with plenty of leg room to operate.
