For those heading to the CW conference on Sunday 1/17/2016, and passing through Northern Virginia, you should plan to detour to the PATINA tool club meeting.
Ted Boscana is the featured speaker. He will explore the tools and techniques involved with the construction of a four-light window sash. The skills demonstrated will include layout of a story stick, morticing, cutting a tennon, and using hand planes to create the moldings. He will also show techniques of coping a joint with an in-cannel gouge and draw boring.
