In making a block front chest, with shells...what would you used for a secondary wood? Pine, Poplar, Oak? I thought I read somewhere that Chestnut was used for the drawer sides and back...would it also have been used for the drawer bottoms?
When I was in business, I made 4 B&S bureaus. One for me and 3 for customers. I used poplar for the secondary wood. Just use whatever works best for you!
