From a show at the Met. on the works of Roentgen. There are several fantastic pieces.

Heads up! I want to build this Virginia clock.  http://www.chipstone.org/publications/2004AF/Richmond/bigwin/27rbw.html  It will take royalty to pay for it. Any takers?

How much do you think it would cost to build it? And I have to wonder why anyone would want to build a clock these days, what with all their round the clock [sic] noise. Maybe if the clock played a nice tune on the hour? :)

Pam,
Well then, you will want to see Keeping Time, an exhibit of American musical tall case clocks.  There is a book that is in the process of publication that goes with this exhibit.  PSP

That would be so cool; but alas, the show ended Nov 17, plus it's a long way from Texas.

But, thanks, I'll keep an eye out for the book.

The best thing about this clock is that it was made in the middle of no where today. Please accept my apology towards Pulaski County. All roads lead to Wytheville (you had to be there to understand) Dennis, Sorry to run off with your thread.
