The 20th Annual Colonial Williamsburg Conference Working Wood in the 18th Century - Workmanship of Risk: Exploring Period Tools and Shops is scheduled for January 25 - 28, 2018. Registration is expected to open mid/late August. Once again this year there is only one session so it is important for those SAPFM members wanting to attend to be alert to registration opening and to register promptly, as the session will fill quickly. We are working to get a couple day advance notice so that we can send a member-wide email announcing the opening.

The website announcing the conference details, and where registration will occur had changed this year, and it is no longer at history.org. Program details can be found at

(This link has been updated since original posting, as CW changed the URL)

The link for registering will also be found there when they open registration.

As usual, several SAPFM meeting and events will be held in conjunction with Working Wood. These include an all-day Board meeting for Board members, a Members Meeting, and the Cartouche Banquet. Stay tuned for more information on these associated SAPFM events.

See you in Williamsburg in late January 2018!
