    Making Cabriole Legs

    How was it done?

    Making some tombstone doors and was curious as to how the dado was cut into the top arch.  I imagine some type of curved dado plane was used, or perhaps a modified "old womans tooth."  Any ideas? I find myself garvitating more towards hand tools. Thanks Joe
