    Veneer conditioner recipe

    I've got a recipe for veneer conditioner/flattener:   4 parts water   2 parts white glue   1 part denatured alcohol   1 part glycerin   Is this similar to what y'all use?   How long can I store this solution (shelf-life)?

    Black spade feet on Federal table

      I'm making spade feet on some Federal tables.  I used veneer (dyed anigre, I think) to make them black for my first table, but am wondering if just using black ink might be easier next time.  Has anyone tried that?  I don't see why this would not work and it would be easier than fiting...

      Hey guys. I've got a bunch of questions..... 1.  What would you use to make black 1/8 or 3/32" cock-beading (for a Federal piece)?  I figured I could use wenge, or "blackwood" (whatever that is).  Do you have a source you'd recommend?   Might be easier to dye or otherwise colour another...
