Give a search for Optimum Brasses in UK and Marshall Brass in UK. Never ordered from Marshall but they do have a larger catalog. I get my brasses from Optimum, nice people, worker owned. Cast brasses from original pieces...I always spoke to Helen.... .I could not attach the address but They...

So that brings the question....on original chests were the shells applied or all three carved from/onto one board?

Make a cradle/jig that holds all parts in alignment and define the blocking with a router? either electric or manual??

I'm thinking of making a Massachusetts shelf clock. I started looking around ebay for weight driven movements that would work, but I'm not sure which would work. Has anyone used OG clock style movements (time and strike)? Would it be "OK" to use a spring driven movement? even then it is...

The class That I attended was a week, 5 days long. and the one that he lists on his website....we were given templates to work from and carved both shells and B&C foot and the Townsend/Goddard knee.....Al talked about the design process while every body was carving There were 5 of us in the class..

He also has a class that teaches the Goddard style shells and Ball & Claw

Maybe get in touch with Al Breed. He has plaster casts with the gouge sizes list on the casting.

When I contacted the lodge and compared them to the Woodlands...they said "but the Woodlands charge a $10 resort fee...We (Lodge) don't...Plus the parking fee has been "negotiated" down to $10...so that compares to the resort fee.....But the woodlands includes breakfast I said....Reply: no...
